What is a wage cost subsidy?
Most people with a severe disability or equivalent persons fulfill their contractual obligations without any impairment. In individual cases, however, the employment of a person with a disability may place an extraordinary burden on you as an employer. Perhaps a severely disabled person needs regular support from colleagues or their work performance is significantly below that of a person who performs comparable work and does not have a disability. In this case, you can apply for ongoing financial support.
Where can I submit an application?
If the workplace of the person with a severe disability is located in the Rhineland, you can submit an application for funding in accordance with § 27 SchwbAV to the LVR Inclusion Office.
The applications for funding required to initiate the procedure can be found here.
What requirements must be met?
- The person employed in your company must have a recognized severe disability or equal status from the employment agency.
- You can apply for funding in accordance with § 27 SchwbAV in the second year of employment at the earliest.
- You have already exhausted all priority options, such as adapting technical equipment, work organization and the scope of tasks
