Application for victim compensation

Have you or one of your relatives been the victim of violence? We are here for you! And we will tell you which assistance services can be provided in your case in accordance with Social Code XIV (SGB XIV).

If you have experienced violence, it can be very stressful. The state of NRW offers help in cases of violence so that you can quickly return to a normal everyday life. This includes psychotherapeutic and financial benefits. We will check for you which benefits you can apply for and also help you beyond that. A contact person from our help network can support you during the application process. Our help network includes the police victim protection service, the various women's and family counseling centers and the Weißer Ring regional office.

• A contact person can advise you on which assistance you can apply for and put you in touch with the relevant contact.
• A contact person can support you in submitting your application for victim compensation.
• You can get help quickly, for example by talking to a contract trauma outpatient clinic.
