Advice on short-term living
Content of this page
Short-term living offers the opportunity to care for children, young people or adults with disabilities in a residential facility for a limited period of time.
Short-term living as a social participation service for people with disabilities
Are you looking after your (adult) child with a disability at home? Or another relative and need relief for a short time? There is the option of short-term living in a residential facility. As (semi-)inpatient assistance, short-term living is initially financed by the care insurance fund. If you have exhausted the funds from the care insurance fund, you can apply to the LVR for integration assistance. Our LVR case management will advise you on the necessary requirements.
