Peer counseling by people with disabilities for people with disabilities

Do you want to move out of your home? Are you dissatisfied with your job at the WfbM? Would you like to know what you can do in your free time? Our peer counseling service will support you with all questions relating to housing, leisure, work and independent living.

Advice at eye level

Our peer advisors are people who have a disability themselves. They have had similar experiences and can put themselves in your shoes particularly well. The advice is therefore provided on an equal footing and is open to all people with disabilities - regardless of their type of disability.

Our peer counseling services can currently be found in ten locations of our coordination, contact and counseling centers (KoKoBe). The KoKoBe also provide advice in the areas of housing, leisure and social contacts. The consultations take place on the premises of the KoKoBe or, by arrangement, at another location or virtually. On request, a specialist from KoKoBe can also take part in the counseling sessions. All peer counselors have been trained by the LVR. The peer counseling sessions at the KoKoBe are free of charge.
